5: Gender equality
HERE'S WHAT WE DO
Equality is an important part of our business and therefore it is one of the sustainability goals we have chosen to focus on. By working proactively with inclusion and equality, both in leading positions and in the organization as a whole, we want to create a sustainable work environment for our employees and influence norms in society.
EQUALITY ON ALL LEVELS
Building equal companies is something that must happen at all levels. It is not enough to set goals in numbers. We must also work to create an inclusive workplace, think about how we design our recruitment ads, offer equal pay and cater for the supply of skills in the tech industry. It is work that we must actively carry with us at all times, not just through single events.
Therese Jäger, CEO of Cypoint Incode, works for Cypoint Incode to become the industry's first equal consulting company in system development. This means actively seeking out and attracting female developers.
We actively work to inform about and highlight the importance of gender equality in the tech industry on our social media channels.
FEMALE LEADERSHIP
At Cypoint we have a male group CEO and three female CEOs in our daughter companies, which makes us unique in the otherwise male-dominated tech industry. Allowing different perspectives to take place at management level is one thing we do to lay the foundation for sustainable leadership.
COMPETENCE SUPPLY
Cypoint wants to contribute to the long-term supply of skills in the tech industry. We are looking for senior female developers to also provide balance and role models in the workplace where junior female developers should thrive and not leave the industry.
INCLUSIVE WORKPLACE
Creating an equal workplace is something that must influence the entire organization. We work actively to create an inclusive work environment. At the beginning of Q4 2023, the distribution of employees was 63% men and 37% women at Cypoint.
