We at Cypoint have been working with Polarn O. Pyret since 2021, maintaining and continuously developing their e-commerce solution and PIM. In addition to being a long-term client, Polarn O. Pyret has an outstanding sustainability strategy that aligns closely with Cypoint’s vision. Through close collaboration, we’ve developed solutions that support both their employees and customers. Here, we share the challenges they faced and how we helped them create better solutions.

Challenge
Creating an optimal e-commerce platform and customer experience.
Like other e-commerce companies, Polarn O. Pyret wants to be at the forefront of technology, innovation, and customer experience. The online store should be stylish, fast, efficient, fun, and the shopping experience should work seamlessly and securely for the customer. When PO.P was looking for a new implementation partner in 2021 to manage their Optimizely e-commerce platform and Inriver PIM, they were looking for a company that was willing to work very closely with them.
They did not want a typical "customer-supplier relationship", but were looking for a partner who would feel like PO.P's own employees. It felt completely right for us who value long-term relationships.
Solution
Renewed business system and a modern shopping experience.
In recent years, Polarn O. Pyret has undergone a major internal transformation by replacing their business system. Cypoint has supported them by developing, maintaining, and improving the integrations between the new business system, the e-commerce platform, and Inriver PIM – to create the smoothest possible experience. To meet the new technical requirements, Cypoint upgraded PO.P's search engine from the former Esales 3 to Voyado Elevate. This required a complete rewrite of the site's indexing and search function, in close collaboration with Voyado.
A new website was launched in the summer of 2023 after a year of implementation work where Cypoint participated from start to finish with everything from solution architecture to developer resources in frontend and .Net. The site contains several new, innovative features that we have developed.
Result
Enhanced customer journey and internal efficiency.
Thanks to the latest version of Voyado Elevate, PO.P can easily follow the customer journey from site visit to sale, which has provided them with better insights into the customer journey and opportunities for more precise personalization. With the possibilities for personalization, they can now tailor their content, search results, and more to their users, allowing them to enhance the customer experience and provide more personalized service.
We are currently working on ongoing platform updates and improvements to create a fast, responsive shopping experience for PO.P's customers. The result is a modern shopping experience and more efficient work processes that make it easier for PO.P's team to create content and shopping experiences beyond the ordinary.
